Excellence in Engineering - The Legacy of RNS Institute of Technology

Introduction

Dr. R. N. Shetty founded RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT) in 2001. This private engineering college sits in Bangalore. The R. N. Shetty Trust runs RNSIT to provide top-notch education in engineering, technology, and management. Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) affiliates RNSIT, and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has given its nod.

Campus and Infrastructure -

  •  RNSIT is situated on a 170-acre plot with lots of trees and thus provides a peaceful and beneficial environment for study. Among its offerings are technologically equipped classrooms, state-of-the-art labs with R&D centers for AI and IoT areas, a centrally located library with a vast range of both digital and print resources, and hostels for boys and girls, each with Wi-Fi and round-the-clock security.

Placements and Industry Exposure -

  • RNS Institute of Technology Training and Placement Cell really does a great job helping students land good jobs after graduation. Big names like Amazon, Adobe, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, and Dell regularly come to campus to recruit our students.

  • The placement records have been pretty impressive lately - someone actually bagged a package of 56 LPA, which is amazing! Most students typically get offers between 4.5 to 8 LPA, which is quite decent for fresh graduates. It's reassuring to know that the college has your back when it comes to starting your career

Student Life and Activities -

  •  At RNSIT, campus life is anything but boring-there’s a good balance between hitting the books and diving into clubs, fests, and community service.

  •  You can join a mix of technical and cultural clubs, catch the energy of fests like Pantheon and Parichay, or make a difference through NSS and NCC.

Conclusion

RNS Institute of Technology has honestly become quite a big deal when it comes to technical education. What I really like about this place is that they don't do things halfway - the facilities are genuinely good, and you can tell the teachers actually care whether you succeed or not. They're not just reading from textbooks, they really know what they're teaching. And the industry connections? Those are real and actually helpful when you're looking for internships or jobs.
